Frank “Dino” Richmond was born February 14, 1946, to Frank Richmond and Ida Mae Richmond Strother in Shreveport, Louisiana. During his early years he attended St. Davis Baptist Church and received his formal education in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He worked in agriculture where he was a field foreman for over 30 years. He traveled numerous places with his job. After having traveled to Bakersfield, CA in 1982, he met and spent his life with his longtime partner of 43 years, Norma Ann Wyatt.

Frank, known as Dino, was a hard worker. He loved sitting in the yard, spending time with his friends and family, and sharing memorable stories about his childhood. He had a passion for buying and fixing cars, fishing, and watching his grandchildren who he was always happy to give $1 to flag down the ice cream man. He adored his mother-in-law, Oretha Powell and sought her out daily to “see what she was cooking?”.

Dino was called home on June 30th, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ida Richmond Strother and Frank Richmond; two daughters, Latania and Dena Richmond; three brothers, Robert Strother, Bernard Richmond and Bobby Wicerson; and one sister, Patricia Strewd. He leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Timothy Richmond; four sisters, Willie Mae Williams, Hattie Strother, Cecilia Blakes, and Linda Wooden; his longtime partner, Norma Wyatt; three stepchildren, Lisa Ludd, Kenya Gooden, and Tony Bailey; and a host of loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, and many friends.
