Frank C. Rindfleisch, 88, Mosinee, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Wausau.
Frank was born on April 11, 1936, in Mosinee, WI. Son to the late, Otto and Katherine (Schantz) Rindfleisch. He married Bernice Koss, they later divorced. He then married Carlene Holder Kleiber in 2001, she survives.
Frank was a professional truck driver all his working life. Frank had a collection of quips and sayings that he gathered throughout his life from friends and acquaintances. Frank, “I’ll be Frank with you” was a loving, caring and big hearted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Frank enjoyed his times hunting (deer rifle season was his favorite), fishing and reminiscing with family and friends. Always on the go to casinos, festivals, fundraisers and local establishments. A favorite saying of his was, “if you can’t sleep, come back”. He will be sadly missed by family, friends and everyone he met. “No matter where you go, there you are”.
Frank is survived by his wife Carlene, his children; Jeff (Sherri)Rindfleisch, Debbie Frank, Tammy (Scott) Gorski, grandchildren; Tanya Frank (Joe Waller), Kathryn Frank, (Mike Davis), Wayne Gorski, Tyler Rindfleisch (Stephanie Wolfe), Cally Gorski, great-grandchildren; Magnolia and Mason Davis, Step Daughters; Jennifer Bessen, Kerry (Jarrod) Wurz, Step Son; Rod Kleiber (Dawn Macedo), Step Grandchildren; Keef Habeck, Jessica (John) Hood, Lukas (Stacey) Kleiber, Amber Kleiber, Kaylie Kleiber (Larry Howe), Arianna Wurz and River Wurz, Step Great Grandchildren: William, Lausen, Owen, Braxton, Daiji, Jayden, Miah and Apollo as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Frank was preceded in death by; sisters, Helen Geoffrey, Marie Castona, Anna Pecha, Lillian James, Irene Rindfleisch (infant), Katherine (Patty) McGowan, Brothers, William, Art, Otto, Edward, and son-in-law, Steve McCluskey.
Special thanks and appreciation to all the kind and caring staff at the Aspirus Palliative Care Unit for the comfort and care provided to Frank and his family. He loved them all.
A Celebration of Life for Frank will take place on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, from 1:00 p.m., until 3:00 p.m. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be made at www.bestefh.com.
