Frank's family...
Frank Mathew Schad
passed away peacefully
on January 18, 2025
at the age of 90.
Born on March 5, 1934
to Erwin Albert Schad and
Blanche Opal Kern Schad.
Frank was a devoted husband,
father, grandfather, and a loyal friend.
He was a gentle giant with quiet strength,
profound integrity, and unrelenting faith
in our Lord and Savior.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents,
and his brothers
Harry Schad and Charles Schad.
He is survived by his loving wife
of 71 years, Patty Schad,
his 4 children and 13 grandchildren.
Oldest daughter Vicki Eimen
and husband Dr. Mike Eimen,
their daughters Rebecca Moore
and husband Justin,
Catherine Eimen and Kenny Sanders,
and Elizabeth Clowers and husband Corey.
Second daughter Debra Gorney
and husband David Gorney,
their daughter Jennifer Ruston
and son Brian Gorney.
Third daughter Kristi Butts
and husband Marty Butts,
their son Joe Butts, daughter Patricia Butts,
and son Phillip Butts and wife Olivia.
And, one son, Jeffrey Schad
and wife Melanie Schad,
their son Noah Ready and wife Audra,
daughter Aubrey Tierney
and husband Anthony (deceased),
daughter Meghan Thornton,
daughter Amber Merrell and husband Matt,
and daughter Melissa Caviness
and husband Coy.
In addition, Frank's large, treasured family
also included 28 great grand children,
3 great, great grand children,
numerous nieces and nephews
and several sister and brother-in-laws.
Frank was born and lived in Tulsa
up until he and Patty moved
to
Mannford, OK in 1974.
He dedicated nearly 60 years to his career
in the Bearing industry where he was
greatly renowned and respected.
He was an outdoors man
who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
But, his greatest love was breeding
and raising race horses and
cooking and grilling;
he was famous for his homemade rub.
His strongest love was for his family
and he always looked forward to get together
for holidays and special occasions
or just because.
He was a founding member at
Crossroads Community Bible Church
and served in many volunteer capacities
in the community.
Near and dear to his heart were
Backpacks for Kids and Unpaid Lunch Balances
both for Mannford Public Schools.
