Frank J. Schenhoffer, 77, of Maryville, IL, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Meridian Village Memory Care in Glen Carbon, IL.

Frank was born on April 29, 1948, in Granite City, IL, the son of the late Frank L. and Amelia (née Wondra) Schenhoffer. On September 26, 1970, he married Cheryl A. Wall, who survives.

Frank retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone, where he worked for many years as a systems technician. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam and was a proud member of AMVETS. In his free time, Frank enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a devoted member of Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Cheryl A. Schenhoffer of Maryville, IL; a son, Christopher (Dana) Schenhoffer of Johnstown, CO; and a sister, Kathleen O'Brien of Crown Point, IN.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Barry Wilson Funeral Home.

Funeral mass will be at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 200 N. Lange, Maryville, IL 62062 with Father Rob Johnson celebrant. Private burial with military honors will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.

Memorials are suggested to Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and will be received at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, Illinois 62062.
