Frank D. Skufca

Funeral Mass for Frank D. Skufca, 89, of Painesville Township, will be 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, in Concord Township. Frank passed away Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, at his residence. He was born Jan. 29, 1934, in Cleveland. Frank was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church for more than 30 years. He enjoyed being a handyman and could fix anything. He was always taking things apart and putting them back together, and willing to lend a helping hand to others. Mr. Skufca was a proud member of the Plumber's Union Local 55 for more than 50 years. Frank was the beloved husband of 69 years to Idamae T. (nee Harrington) Skufca; loving father of Michael J. (Sue) Skufca, Kim M. (Mark) Saige, Holly J. (Jeff) Nichols and Joseph F. Skufca; cherished grandfather of Kate (Jesse), John (Nicole), Cory (Rhea), Scott, Rachel, Sam, Charlotte, Michael, and Steven; great-grandfather of Aleah and Quentin; and uncle of many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthias and Catherine (nee Perme) Skufca; and siblings, Edward (Olga, dec.), Louis (Winnie, dec.), Chuck (Mary dec., Marge dec.), Norbert (Lorraine, dec.), Quentin (Jean, dec.), Gean (Ray Paonsha dec., Al Casciato dec.), Betty (Jim, dec.) Aquilla, and Sr. Catherine Marie O.S.U. Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
