Mr. Frank Paul Struck III ("Sonni"), age 64, of Douglasville, GA, passed away Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, with his devoted wife by his side. He was born July 10th, 1961, in Atlanta, GA, to the late Frank Paul Struck, Jr. and Bernice Maner Struck. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 14 years, Beth Struck; his children, Zach (Ashley) Everett, Jeff Taylor, Johnny (Lindzie) Taylor, Morgan (Wayne) Rhodes, Marisa (Madison) Teal, Meriel Taylor, and Jacob Paul Struck; his grandchildren, Maci Everett, Lane Everett, Strickland Teal, and Ava Rhodes; his sisters, Shari (Doug) Comstock and Kippi (Joe) Flanders; and numerous nieces and nephews. Frank grew up in East Point, GA, and was a 1979 graduate of Headland High School, where he was a fullback on the football team. After high school, Frank invested his college fund as the youngest partner ever to sign with Darden Restaurants. He spent over 30 years owning and managing restaurants before retiring in 2011 to pursue a calling in marketplace ministry. Frank's greatest passion was mentoring his employees and other business owners on how to use their faith at work, which he continued to do until illness took his voice in 2020. A lifelong believer in Christ, Frank was raised in Catholic school before joining First Baptist Church of Douglasville. In 2010, he met Beth while serving alongside her in the youth group, where Frank's mischievous sense of humor and their shared love for serving others drew them together. After marrying in 2011, Frank and Beth joined Crossroads Church in Douglasville, where they served faithfully for the last 15 years in small groups, missions, and the youth ministry. Frank was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs; his love for the Bulldogs extended beyond the game, as he was also the proud owner of several English bulldogs over the years. He was also deeply committed to health and fitness, finding great fulfillment in weight training and exercise. Frank's unwavering faith, dedication to fitness, and profound love for his family gave him strength and purpose despite all odds during his five year battle with cancer. His profession until the end was, "I am already healed - my body just has to catch up". Frank will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him. The celebration of Frank's life will be held at Crossroads Church at 5960 Stewart Parkway in Douglasville on Sunday, September 21st, 2025 at 5:00pm EST, with Pastor Greg Towler and Pastor Gary Keesee officiating. Visitation for the family will be held at the same location between 4:00pm - 5:00pm immediately preceding the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jacob's Bank of America scholarship fund via Zelle ([email protected]) or by mail to Beth Struck at 296 Mado Ln. Palmetto, Ga 30268 "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed. Perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted, but not abandoned. Struck down, but not destroyed."
