Frank Lincoln Summerer, 87, of Port Huron, died Saturday, March 17, 2018.
He was born July 29, 1930 in Port Huron to the late Frank E. and Dana Summerer. He married Mary M. (Vargo) Schwabauer on November 29, 1952 in Our Saviour Lutheran Church.
Frank was employed with Mueller Brass Co. until his retirement and then worked at Northport Towers. He was a long-time member of Faith Lutheran Church. Frank loved hunting, fishing and dancing.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary; sons, Frank L. Summerer II, Paul H. (Barb) Summerer and Todd K. (Vicky) Summerer; grandsons, T. J. Summerer Jr. and Travis Summerer; many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, including Roger (Carol) Vargo.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, March 22, 2018 in Faith Lutheran Church visitation beginning at 10:30 am. The Reverend Mark Huff will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Paul, Todd, T. J., and Travis Summerer, Bob Gurnsey and Gary Minnie.
Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church or the Blue Water Hospice Home.
