Frank Wesley Tarbell, 73, of Holly Ridge, North Carolina passed away on March 5th, 2025. Frank was the son of Allan Brown Tarbell of Windsor, CT and Mariann "Scotty" Tarbell of Windsor, CT and Colfax, NC.
Frank is survived by two sons; James Allan Tarbell and his wife Nicole A. Tarbell and their children, Caleb Jameson Tarbell and Keagan Ari Tarbell of Windsor Locks, CT and Jonathan William Tarbell of Melbourne, FL, brother Allan Brown Tarbell, Jr. of Tennessee, sister Sally E Tarbell of Colorado, four nieces and nephews. Frank loved his dogs Shelby and Emmy.
Frank grew up and graduated high school in Windsor, CT. He was devoted to his parents and will be remembered for his care of them both. He worked for the Red Cross, and was a volunteer Firefighter in Tariffville CT. He was employed by Stanadyne Corporation for many years leading up to his retirement. Church community was a big part of Frank's life starting with First Church in Windsor, CT and later Faith Harbor Church in Surf City, North Carolina. He was known as "faithful Frank", always willing to help out and contribute to his community. His hobbies included gardening, photography, biking, and taking walks with his friends and Emmy on the beach. He was musically talented, playing both the saxophone and the flute which he had recently learned to play. He enjoyed performing at church services. Frank loved the ocean and was happy to spend his retirement with a community of good friends in the Holly Ridge area.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes you to donate to a local dog shelter of your choosing.
