Frank Taylor Obituary

Frank Edward Taylor, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, at the age of 80.

Born on May 22, 1945, in Camden, NJ, Frank was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War, where his commitment to his country instilled in him a deep sense of service and camaraderie.

A true entrepreneur at heart, Frank dedicated over three decades of his life to the retail industry as a toy salesman, delighting countless children and families from 1970 until his retirement in 2005. Frank was known for his vibrant personality; he never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand or give the shirt off his back. His kindness and warmth touched all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Frank was a devoted member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where he found community and strength. He cherished his family above all else and is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Donna Taylor; and his two adored daughters, Patricia Taylor (Robert Cotter) and Tracy King (Nathan). He also leaves behind a world that feels a little less bright without him, though his spirit will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of those he loved.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Taylor, Genevieve Taylor; and his sister, Patricia Adamski, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.

The celebration of Frank's life will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. to be followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Frank will be laid to rest on Tuesday, March 24th at 1:00 p.m. in the MJ "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

Let us come together to celebrate a remarkable life well-lived and to honor the legacy of a man whose heart was as vast as his smile.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, reflecting Frank's commitment to community and faith.

Friends are encouraged to share their favorite memories of Frank with the family by clicking on either the "Share a Memory" footer or the word "Tributes" in the dropdown menu.
