Frank Thrasher Obituary
He was born on August 2, 1937, in Clay County, Arkansas, and was the son of Thomas and Mattie (Dillard) Thrasher.
Thomas was united in marriage to Fay Dees on January 9, 1960.
He was a farmer for 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mattie Thrasher; wife, Fay Thrasher; two brothers, Paul Thrasher and Robert Thrasher; son-in-law, Larry Willis; and niece, Leigh Ann Kippney.
Thomas is survived by daughter, Virginia Lynn Willis of Paragould, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Amanda Spinks of Benton, Arkansas, Amber Bagwell and finance Johnnie Hays of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two great-grandchildren; Lily (T.J.) Spinks; niece, Marilyn Thrasher; two nephews; Mark (Skaskia) Thrasher and David Thrasher; and many other relatives and friends.
A private burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude’s Children's Research Center.
