Frank C. "Together again" Tuft

Frank C. Tuft, age 83, beloved husband of the late Jane (nee Kolbeck); father of Brian and Samantha, passed away unexpectedly on June 2, 2025.
Surviving relatives include his brother, Thomas Sr. (Diane) and daughter's Kimberly A. (Martin) Komertz and Patricia A. (Darrin) Radatz from a previous marriage.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Joseph N. and Lillian A. (nee Buchner) Tuft and parents-in-law, Martin and Agnes (nee Zaleski) Kolbeck.
Frank was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 27, 1942 and was a long-time Willowick resident. He retired as a security officer in 2001 with over 30 years of service to the Cuyahoga County Board of County Commissioners, Department of Protective Services.
He loved spending time with family, boating and fishing with friends. He also enjoyed horse racing, going "All-in" at a Texas Hold'em poker tournament and grabbing breakfast at Petie's Family Restaurant.
Although he denied ever wanting a dogs or cats for family pets, they were somehow always found curled up on his lap. Peyton, Lucas, Frankie, and Nibbles along with his grand-cats Cheeto and Marshmallow, will miss him dearly. Our mom and many cherished family pets were reunited with him at the end of the Rainbow Bridge.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 19, 2025 at the Willowick Community/ Senior Center 321 E. 314th St from 12-5pm. Brian and Samantha will welcome family and friends to celebrate Frank and share cherished stories of him throughout the years.
