Frank Turcio Obituary

Frank Michael Turcio, 84, formerly of Lititz, PA went home to be with the Lord on February 24, 2026. Born in Stamford, CT, Frank was the beloved son of the late Charles F. and Rose A. (Loglisci) Turcio. Frank attended J.M. Wright Technical School where he developed his knack for fixing things into a career as a talented electrician for over 40 years in the Tri-State Area with the Local Union 3 IBEW (originally 501). Frank was passionate about music, his baby grand piano, and his beloved upright bass which he faithfully played in the St. Matthews Catholic Church folk group for many years in Norwalk, CT. He also loved the water, especially The Cove in Stamford, CT. Frank shared 29 beautiful years of marriage with the love of his life, Alberta. Frank spent 17 years playing his bass alongside Alberta at St. James Catholic Church, Lititz, PA, where his steady presence and joyful spirit enriched countless liturgies. Over the past eight years in Delaware, he continued to minister faithfully through music and healing prayer. Frank is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Alberta (Cotter) Turcio of Georgetown, DE; his former wife Rita A. Hayes and their children Sharon Turcio Mayer (C. David) and Ellen Frances Turcio; and his stepchildren John Cotter (Uli), Laurie Bryceland (Chris), and Brian Cotter (Kim). He was a proud and adoring grandfather to eleven grandchildren: Luke and Eva Mayer; Shane, Raeanne, and Tyler Bryceland; Emma, Megan, Julia, and Bailey Cotter; Katie Ireland; and Abby Blake. He is also survived by his brothers Charlie Turcio (Cathy) and Joseph Turcio, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, JoAnn Karagianes and her husband Irving. Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, from 2:00–4:00 PM and 6:30–7:30 PM. A Celebration of Life prayer service will follow from 7:30–9:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 6, 2026, at St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Avenue, Lititz, PA, at 11:00 AM, with a viewing from 10:00–11:00 AM prior to Mass. Interment will follow at Witness Park. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Frank Turcio Memorial Scholarship Fund for children with special needs at Victory Hill Therapeutic Horsemanship continuing Frank’s legacy of faith, compassion, and service. Use this link: https://victoryhillth.org/frank-turcio-scholarship-fund/ or mail to: Victory Hill TH, 1138 Mountain Rd., Port Jervis, NY 12771 Memorial services will take place in Connecticut and Delaware at a place and time to be determined in the future.
