Frank Uvenio, 88, of Landing, NJ (formerly of Dumont, NJ), died peacefully on August 11, 2022. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Angelina Uvenio (2016). Loving father of Donna (James) Smith, Frank (JoAnn) Uvenio. Joann Palestrini, David (Elizabeth Bryant) Sansevero, Cherished grandfather of Jillian (Shawn), Valerie (Samantha), Lauren (Joseph), Kristi (Dennis), Nicholas, Nicole. and great-grandfather of Mason and Francesca. Dear brother of Joseph (Loretta) Uvenio and Alfonso (Roseann) Uvenio. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Joann Uvenio and a brother-in-law, Vincent Grasso.

Frank was born in the Bronx, NY to Antoinette (née Santarpia) and Salvatore Uvenio. He was a foreman for installers at New York Bell for 35 years. He also worked at AT&T and Nokia for many years. Frank was a Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the VFW, the American Legion, the Korean War Veterans, and the Knights of Columbus St. John Council #1345 and a lifelong member of the Giglio Society of East Harlem.

A celebration of Frank's life will take place on Monday, August 15th, from 3-7 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont. Funeral Mass Tuesday, August 16th, 11 AM, St. Mary's R.C. Church, Dumont. Frank will be entombed with his wife at Garden of Memories, Township of Washington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's memory to any hospice center of your choice.
