Frank Lee Walters, 86, of Washington, passed away December 17, 2025 in Evansville, IN. He was born May 15, 1939 to Marvin and Ruth (Stephens) Walters in Algiers. Frank graduated from Otwell High School Class of 1958. After high school he co-founded Walters Brothers Construction with his brother Roy Walters. Frank was also a farmer for many years. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #414 and the Washington Moose Lodge #1080 in Washington, IN. Known as the “Tool Man”, Frank loved his tools and frequently went to flea markets to shop for more tools.
Frank is survived by his daughters, Roberta (David) Oster and Rachelle (Jason) Wise; grandchildren, Devin, Adam, Jillian, Jansen, and Reagan; brother, Roy Walters; sisters, Linda Perry, Mary Helen (Ronnie) Taylor, and Donnie (Roger) Uppencamp; step daughters, Rebecca Workman and Regina (Wayne) Martin; and several nieces and nephews.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bobby Joe Walters; and a sister, Opal Woolsey.
Services for Frank will take place at 2 PM EST on Monday, December 22, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 10 AM EST until service time. Pastor Gary Arnold will be officiating and burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
