Frankie Herrera Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Patterson Cremation and Funeral Service - Jacksonville on Dec. 5, 2025.
With sadness and love, we announce the passing of Frankie Herrera on November 22 2025, He was a devoted husband, father, Pop Pop, son, brother and friend. Frank leaves behind his loving wife Dawn Herrera, his three cherished daughters Starlyn,Danika, and Aurora, also his treasured grandson James OBrien (JJ) each of whom he adored with all his heart. Frank was known for his sense of humor, quick wit, and the way he could make anyone laugh. He was also a talented carpenter whose hands built more than just structures for the giant mouse -they built a life size play house for his kids, worked on cars and caught most of his daughters curve balls or just helping friends who needed it, these are the memories for the people he loved. Some of my sweetest memories of Frank are of him by the ocean or sitting on the jetty, fishing laughing and playing with our daughters when they were young. The joy on his face in those moments reflected the deep love he carried for his family. Being a dad-and later a Pop Pop- was his greatest pride and the role he treasured most. Frank found peace in the outdoors, whether listening to the waves or dropping a line in the water and feeling the sun on his face, or simply taking in the world around him. His warmth, his humor, and the steady goodness he shared will live on in every life he touched. Though our hearts are heavy, we hold tightly to the memories, the love, and the laughter he left behind. Frank will be forever missed and forever loved.Frank was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother Frankie Mascarenas and other dear friends and family.
