Frankie Moss, 75, of Oxford, GA, went to be with his Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ on December 26, 2024. Born on June 7, 1949, Frankie was a devoted father, grandfather, and beloved friend to many. A lifelong fan of baseball and Georgia football, he spent countless hours cheering on his favorite teams and sharing his love of sports with family and friends. Frankie was also an avid deer hunter and enjoyed the peacefulness of nature.
He had a deep love for his family, always putting them first and treating anyone who entered his home like family. Frankie’s sharp mind, quick wit, and great storytelling made him a joy to be around. He was a jokester at heart, always ready with a laugh and a smile. Frankie had a fondness for the simple pleasures in life—like crab legs, coconut cakes, trips to the beach. Christmas brought him immense joy each year, especially his Christmas Eve trip to Patrick’s, for goodies.
A fan of the Andy Griffith Show and John Wayne movies, Frankie had a true appreciation for tradition and hard work. He was selfless, always ready to lend a helping hand and worked tirelessly for those he loved.
Frankie is survived by his wife Janet; his sister Diane Moss Norris (Ricky); his children Michael Moss (Sherrie) and Kelli Moss Green (David); his grandchildren Tyler, Brittney, Austin, and Jake; along with other loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Ruth Moss; Kelli’s mother, Peggy Lynn Moss and his best friends Johnny Ellis and Wade Garner.
