Frankie "Bud" Seibert

Brodhead – Frankie "Bud" Seibert , age 88, of rural Brodhead, passed away on September 6th, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was born September 6, 1937 in Duquoin, IL, the son of Frank and Juanita (Decker) Seibert. He married Phyllis Weidman on June 18th, 1960 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Brodhead. Bud was a U.S. Army Veteran. He had worked at Warner Brake and Clutch of Roscoe, Il as a supervisor. He also worked for Martin Automatic of Rockford, IL. He was a member of the Order of the Moose of Monroe, WI; Brodhead Boosters Club and played in the Mill Road Band. Bud is Survived by his wife, Phyllis; a son, Wade (Deanne) Seibert of Brodhead; a daughter, Lisa (Louis) Prihoda of Paris, TX; sister-In-law Lanaya Jones, of Beloit; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Derek Seibert and his children, Ella and Lenora, of Brodhead, Nick (Emmy) Seibert and their child, Cleo, of Janesville; Kayla (Matt) Rhodes, Paris, TX, Douglas Harsevoort, Mexico City, Mexico; Katelyn (Ian) Harris and their Children, Jack and Anna, of Janesville. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers-in-law Jerry Jones and Robert Olsen, and sister-in-law Donna Olsen. Funeral services will be held at the D.L. Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead, WI on Thursday, September 11th, 2025, at 11:00AM with a small visitation before starting at 10:30AM, with Mike Jones officiating. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Brodhead, WI, with Military Honors. Visitation will be held at the DL Newcomer funeral home on Wednesday, September 10th, 2025 at 5:00PM to 7:00PM.
