Sherrill Lee Gilbertson

In Loving Memory of Sherril Lee Gilbertson (née Regenold) January 2, 1949 – July 30, 2025 Sherril Lee Gilbertson, née Regenold, of Beloit, Wisconsin, departed this life on July 30, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on January 2, 1949, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Hurbert and Marian Regenold, Sherril lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, and service to others. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Jonathon; her parents; and her brother, Douglas. Sherril is lovingly remembered by her brothers, David (Lisa) and Terry (Kathleen), both of Brodhead, Wisconsin; her sister, Jeri, of Russellville, Tennessee; and her sister-in-law, Leslie, of Beloit, Wisconsin. She also leaves behind a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends whose lives were touched by her kindness. In recognition of her unwavering commitment to helping others, Serviced as a board member for ADRC Aging and Disability Resouce Center Sherril was honored as the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program of Rock County (RSVP) Community Partner Volunteer of the Year in 2025, celebrating her outstanding volunteer work and lasting impact in her community. A private service for immediate family will be held at a later date. Sherril's legacy of service, love, and quiet strength will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
