Franklin Avery Brockwell, 82, of N. Prince George passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025. Born June 26, 1942, he was the son of the late Ethel and Archie Brockwell, and was also preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Brockwell.
Franklin retired as a mechanic from Dupont after over 40 years of dedicated service.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Odelia Brockwell; and other extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025 at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Prince George Fire and EMS, P.O. Box 68 Prince George, VA 23875. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
