Franklin Delano Conner, 91, passed away December 23, 2025, in The Haven of Paris. He was born September 6, 1934, in Shephardsville, Indiana, to Clifford Conner and Helen Wheeler. Franklin was a veteran of the United States Army receiving 2 bronze stars for his service in Korea. He is preceded in death by his parents, wives, Thelma and Betty, sons, Michael, Brent Allen, and Franklin II, daughter, Cheryl Crowder, sisters, Evelyn Neal, Bertha Morris, Gail Scott, Emma Higgs, Marlene Osburn, and Shirley Judy. He is survived by his son, Dennis Conner, daughters, Helen Wallace, Chrisine Conner, and Virginia Conner, sister, Virginia Dunkley, along with 14 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, December 30, 2025, in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana, 47885, from 12 noon to 1 pm. Online condolences can be made at www.fitzpatrick-funeralhome.com
