Franklin Leroy Crouch, better known as Frank to friends and PawPaw to his grandchildren, a lifelong resident of Hickory Ridge, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on August 10, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Frank was born in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas on July 10,1936, to Elmer Elwood Crouch and Mattie Junious Myrick Crouch, Frank's roots ran deep in the land he called home for his entire life. He married the love of his life, Ella Louise Baldwin Crouch, on March 17, 1959, and together they built a beautiful life, fulfilling their vow of "until death do us part." Their union was one of unwavering devotion and enduring love. Franklin was a hard working husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a man of many strengths and could work on and fix just about anything. He was a longtime member of the Hickory Ridge Church of Christ, where he worshiped faithfully. Franklin is survived by his loving wife, Ella Louise Baldwin Crouch of the home, his son Adrian (Tammy) Crouch of Marion and daughter Cassie Crouch Parish of Lonoke, one brother, Shelby Crouch of Searcy, nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, with one more on the way. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Elmer and Mattie Crouch, his son Roger Crouch, his brothers R.T. and Verlin Crouch; and his sisters Marie Bixler, Artie McCain, and Sandra Kay Rolland. Franklin had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and working in his outdoor shop. He had a natural leadership quality that led him to a long and successful career at Riceland Foods in Hickory Ridge, where he rose through the ranks to become a manager. Even after retirement, Franklin remained active, working at the Hickory Ridge Co-op as a spray rig operator, and later lending his strong work ethic and experience to local farmers and Cullum Seed. In his earlier years, Franklin had a passion for horses. He loved working with them and spent many weekends participating in horse shows. Franklin Crouch lived a life of integrity, hard work, and love for his family, community, and faith. His legacy will continue to live on in the lives of those he touched and in the values he instilled. Visitation will be held at the Hickory Ridge Church of Christ on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 1:00–2:00 p.m., with the funeral service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, Arkansas. The family would like to send out a sincere THANK YOU to the caregivers at Cornerstone Caregiving Searcy, Ar. for helping provide Franklin, and Mrs. Ella, with the best care even on the hardest days. The family kindly requests that donations be made in Franklin's memory to the Hickory Ridge Church of Christ at 402 S. 4th Street, Hickory Ridge, Ar, 72347 or to the VA Hospital at http://www.cdceportal.va.gov/donate_at_facility/ .
