Franklin "Reid" Dorsey

Franklin "Reid" Dorsey, 78, of South Windsor, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025. Born on February 24, 1947, he was predeceased by his mother, Olga "Kay" Cipolla.
Reid leaves behind his devoted and loving partner, Carol Pugrab, and his beloved dog, Coco. He is also survived by his sister, Ellen Corrado, and her husband, Richard; his niece, Julie Corrado; and his nephew, Stephen Corrado. He leaves in addition Carol's children: Timothy Pugrab and his wife Kera, and their children, Aubrey and Ethan; and Kimberly Munz and her husband Eric, and their children, Ryan and McKenna.
Reid enjoyed being at the Cape, had a lifelong passion for music, especially playing the drums, and was proud to serve as a drummer in the National Foot Guard.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. C. Gunay for her long-time care of his diabetes; Dr. J. Singh and the dialysis team at Devita; and the dedicated nursing staff at Evergreen HealthCare Center for Health and Rehabilitation for their compassionate support.
In honoring Reid's wishes, no services will be held. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association and/or the National Kidney Foundation in loving memory of Reid.
