He was born May 17, 1940, in Massillon the son of the late James and Betty (Angus) Simon.
He was a veteran of the Navy.
Frank retired from Timken Company in 2002 after many years of service as an inspector.
He was a life member of VFW #3124, Eagles #190, and Army Navy #207.
Frank is survived by niece, Patricia Rieger and her children, Samantha and Collin Rieger; friends, Emmanuel and Evelyn Paradeses, and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Simon and brother, James Simon Jr.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel, 639 1st St NE at 12:00 pm with Fr. Edward Gretchko. Calling Hours before, from 10am to 12pm.
Burial to follow the service at St. Joseph Cemetery in Massillon with military honors.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Stark County Humane Society P. O. Box 7077, Canton, Ohio 44705.
