Franklyn Emanuel Francis

Franklyn Emanuel Francis of Warsaw and Nicaragua passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 25, 2025, in the care of Parkview Regional Medical Center of Fort Wayne, Indiana at the age of 72.

He was born on January 14, 1953, in Bluefields, RACCS, Nicaragua to Imogene West and Joseph Francis. Franklyn grew up in a very large family of 16 children. Throughout his life he was always very good with his hands and worked in construction as a carpenter both in Nicaragua and in Indiana. Franklyn had family in Warsaw and he had been living here for the past year. He willl be dearly missed by his friends and family.

Franklin leaves behind his life companion, Maria Clair; daughters, Sandra, Cynthia and Rose Francis; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren (all of Nicaragua). Also surviving are his siblings, Joseph, Ludrick, Luis, Lorena, Lillian, Lena, Ida Lavern, and Annette Francis; and Estela, Susanna, and Marina Arbs West; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Irene and brother, Jeff.

A private family visitation will be held at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home. Franklyn will be laid to rest at San Juan de Dios Cemetery, Barrio San Pedro in Bluefields, RACCS, Nicaragua. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
