Fred Boddie Obituary
Fred William Boddie passed away September 9, 2025 at the age of 73. He was born July 27, 1952 to the late Leon Rushin Boddie and Sara Evelyn Boddie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Vicky Boddie.
Fred was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan along with his best friend Clyde. Fred served as a Maintenance Supervisor in the Paper Mill Industry.
He is survived by his sons: Jeff (Tracy) Boddie, Jeremy (Lisa) Boddie, Jason Boddie; brother, Richard "Ricky" Boddie, sister, Sandra (Paul) Walker; grandchildren: Justin Boddie, Brandon Boddie, Jeffery Boddie, Brittany Boddie, Corey Boddie, Kirsten Boddie, Lylla Boddie, and Abigail Boddie, and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be Friday, September 19, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Matthew Jacobs officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
