He attended Harding High School.
Fred worked for Eastern Airlines.
He served in the N.C. Air National Guard.

Fred and I used to talk about our Military days. He was an. F-86 Pilot in
Korea. Later - he was a pilot for Eastern airlines. He flew into the airport
in Greensboro N.C. where I worked in the 60s- on the ramp & Cargo area.
Fred loved to talk and walk down memory lane of those times. We shared
a fondness for the same Barbecue Place - near Charlotte " Lexington BBQ "
Fred brought me copies of a N.C. Magazine that he subscribed.
I remember Fred for his sense of humor and for his being a patriot.
He was a Great. American.
