Fred G. Ebisch

Fred G. Ebisch, age 88, of Erie passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital - ready to go to the great golf course in the sky with an eternal 19th hole. Born in Erie on February 22, 1934 he was a son of the late August and Harriet (Fries) Ebisch.
Fred was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving our country in the United States Navy. He worked as a salesman for Firch Bakery before retirement.
He enjoyed playing golf always being on a different course with his foursome over the years. Fred also liked to sit on the back porch occasionally accompanied by a glass of wine.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Johnson and her husband Wesley and a brother, Carl Ebisch.
Fred is survived by his wife of 65 years whom he met in 8th grade, Dorothy (Hain) Ebisch; three sons, Dan Ebisch, Tom Ebisch, and Steve Ebisch, wife Marcie; three grandchildren, Alex, Samantha, and Mark Ebisch; and a brother, David Ebisch, wife Jan.
Friends are invited to call on Saturday, June 4th from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd. Private interment will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Condolences may be sent at www.bruggerfuneralhomes.com.
