Freddie Allen Gaither, 80, of Midwest City, OK completed his earthly journey April 25, 2023. He was born October 28, 1942, to Roma Gaither & Kathryn Gaither (Holt) in Madera, CA. Fred graduated from Carney High School in 1960 then joined the OK National Guard and then the Army Reserve completing 28 years of Military Service. He was a patriot at heart & was proud to be an American. Fred retired early from Tinker as a Quality Control Specialist then worked many other jobs until he totally retired. He married Brenda Boykin Cullum on Sept. 10, 2014. Together they enjoyed music, church, playing slots at casinos & time with family. He is survived by his mother, Kathryn Gaither-Sadler; wife, Brenda; 3 children: Freddie Allen Gaither, Jr., Jonathan Gaither & wife, Nicole and LaRonna Anderson; grandchildren: Steven, Tyler, Kylie, Dylan & Lyla; great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Jordan, Elliott, Serenity Rose & McKylnee LuRee; brother, Ron Gaither and wife, Diane; sister, Peggy Gaither Cody and husband, Lee. Fred was preceded in death by his father; Roma; sister, Margaret Dittmeyer; grandson, Joshua Anderson and mother of his children, Bobbi Jo Gaither.
