Fred Ojienda Gondi

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Fred Gondi Ojienda, who was born on April 27, 1992, in Nairobi, Kenya, and passed away suddenly on October 7, 2025, at his home in Burnsville, Minnesota. He was 33 years old.
Fred was the beloved son of Moses Ojienda and Leah Irene Ojienda. He attended Upper Hill High School and later Kenyatta University, where he pursued Medical Administration before relocating to the United States in 2015.
A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Fred served his country with dedication honorably for two years. He was known for his high spirits, infectious laughter, and big heart. Always full of life, Fred had a magnetic personality - he was the "cool kid," full of charm, humor, and an eye for the finer things in life, yet humble and deeply caring toward others.
Fred is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia and son Lloyd Gondi, his parents, and his brother, Bill Ojienda.
He will be remembered for his laughter, warmth, and love that touched everyone who knew him. Though gone too soon, Fred's light and spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
