James Arthur Barango

Barango, James A. age 80 of Blaine, passed away peacefully on 10/9/2025. Preceded in death by partner, Sue; his parents and his sister Sarah. He was a proud Army Veteran who served in Vietnam and was proud to have worked for the Transit Authority of San Diego and UPS Minneapolis. He was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears, and often spoke about memories of growing up going to games with his father. Survived by son, Joe; siblings, Joseph (Diane), Lenore (Ronald) Scrivens, Joyce Hanson; many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, October 28th with visitation one hour prior, all at Eastern Heights Lutheran Church, 616 Ruth St. N., St. Paul. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
