Fred Knutt Obituary
April 3rd, 2025 at the age of 35Fred Knutt, age 35 of Keyesport, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Fred was born in Breese on July 28, 1989, a son of Bryan and Ann (Kruse) Knutt. He graduated from Central High School in 2007. Following graduation, Fred worked as a laborer for Local 670 in O'Fallon, which later merged with Local 100 in East St. Louis. He was an avid outdoorsman and was happiest when he was outside. Fred enjoyed almost all outdoor activities, especially fishing, hunting, boating, and searching for mushrooms.
Fred is survived by his parents, Bryan and Ann Knutt; his stepbrother, Eric Kruse; his grandmother, Carole Knutt; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Calvin Knutt, and Jerome and Jean Kruse.
Visitation will be held at Zieren Funeral Home in Carlyle from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, April 11, 2025.
In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family suggests memorial contributions in Fred's memory to Community Resource Center (CRC, www.crconline.info). Donations will be received through Zieren Funeral Home, 1111 Clinton Street, Carlyle, IL 62231.
