The arms of Jesus embraced our husband, father, brother, and grandfather Fred Lovelace on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Fred was born November 11, 1933 to the parentage of Richard Carl and Faye (Williams) Lovelace. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps 1953 to 1956. He married the love of his life, Lynda, on August 7, 1957. Two children were born to this parentage, Beverly and Neil. Fred loved life and he never met a stranger. He especially loved his Friday morning men’s bible study.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dick; and son, Neil. He is survived by his wife Lynda of 56 years; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and George Isbell; beloved granddaughter, Riana; and sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Frank Davis.
A celebration memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2014 at Monterey Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to the Monterey Memorial Garden.
