Fred Allen Perry – age 80 of Washburn, passed away Saturday morning, January 10, 2026, at U.T. Medical Center. He is a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and a retired employee of Carmeuse Luttrell Operation. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Dillinger; parents, Herbert and Nelle (Chesney) Perry; brothers, Alfred Perry, J.C. Perry, John Perry, Kyle Perry, Billy Perry.

He is survived by his daughters, Janet Woods of Washburn, Sherry Nicely of Washburn; grandchildren, Shelby Albright, Jordan Nicley, Brittany Bowlin, Jessica Daniel, Ricky Kitts, Kelsey Timmons, Dustin Carpenter, Ryan Carpenter; 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Bowlin of Washburn; brother, Kenny Perry of Washburn; several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Rev. Greg Hurst officiating, music by Rev. Richard and Linda Nicley. Interment service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Cabbage Cemetery in Washburn with military honors presented by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be, Jordan Nicley, Ricky Kitts, Divon Albright, Kenny Perry, Greg Perry, Marty Phipps. Honorary pallbearers will be, Michael Woods, Dustin Carpenter, Ryan Carpenter. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home to go with the funeral procession. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville.
