A memorial service for Fred Rodriguez, 84, of Cleburne will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 26, 2024, at United Presbyterian Church in Cleburne with Reverend Bob Phillips and Reverend Carol Phillips officiating.

Fred passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024, in Fort Worth. He was born November 12, 1939, to Jose Angel and Hortence (Cruz) Rodriguez in San Antonio. Fred married Wanda Jean Lightfoot on July 29, 1961, in Denton. He was a member of United Presbyterian Church in Cleburne. Fred worked as a Licensed Texas Land Surveyor for Childress & Recer Surveyor for 12 years, Comanche Peak in Glen Rose for 8 years, and Santa Fe Railroad with 25 years of service. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Fred was a member of Nolands River Masonic Lodge #453. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Wanda Rodriguez of Cleburne; sons, Aaron Fred Rodriguez and wife Jenny, of Burleson, Aarich David Rodriguez of Cleburne; grandchildren, Hayden Rodriguez, Mallory Rodriguez, Crystal Jones and husband, Vincent, and Velvet Woods; great-grandchildren, Brianna Austin, Cecil Jones, Dean Jones, Ellie Holbert and William Woods; brother, Joe Rodriguez and wife, Margie of San Antonio; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Hortence Ruiz.
