Fred L. Wooten
January 20, 1938 - July 11, 2021
Warner Robins, Georgia - Fred Lanny Wooten was greeted at the Pearly Gates by his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 11, 2021 after a brief illness. He was 83 years old.
Born on January 20, 1938 in Laurens County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Robert Lee and Mildred Hudson Wooten. Fred served with the U.S. Army before joining the Army National Guard where he served for many years. He owned and operated Fred's Chemical House in Warner Robins for over 35 years. A 1957 graduate of Dudley High School, he was a dedicated member of Grace Baptist Church. After living in Warner Robins for 55 years, he was also an avid Warner Robins High School Demons fan. Fred was a passionate and loyal University of Georgia Bulldogs fan. Go Dawgs!
Left to cherish Fred's memory are his wife of 41 years, Martha Wooten; daughter, Vicki Lynn Wooten of Dublin, Georgia; sons; Joel Wallace Wooten of Dublin, Georgia and Robert Wooten (Bobbi) of Warner Robins; grandchildren; April Bloodworth (Derek), Jacob Wooten, and Maddi Wooten; sisters; Emily Ussery (Oliver), Linda Allen (Ben), and Martha Linville; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2021. His Service will immediately follow the Visitation at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Fred will be laid to rest in the Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Reverend Paul Mullen will officiate. For friends unable to attend at this time, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
Flowers will be accepted by the family or donations may be made in Fred's memory to Grace Baptist Church, 204 S. Pleasant Hill Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Our prayers are with Mrs Martha and the family. Mr Fred was a Godly man, and my family will miss him very much. We are thankful he is with our Lord and we will see him again.
