Freda Farrell Obituary
Freda was predeceased by her husband of 63 years Christopher "Chris" Farrell who passed on February 4, 2019, her parents William & Johanna Brown, her brother James Brown, her sister and brother-in-law Anna (Brown) and Carl Perry and her nephew James Perry. Also predeceased by her sister-in-law Marie Farrell, her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Genevieve and (Alfred) Page, Theresa and Bucky "Bryce" Wilcox, Anna Mae and Robert Coleman. Also her brothers-in-law Joseph, Keron, Leo, James Jr. and Ambrose Farrell.
Freda is survived by her sisters-in-law Edith "Dolly" Brown Callicoon, NY also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Freda was a long time member of Saints John and Andrew (since 1956) and a member of their Alter-Rosary Society. Freda was employed by Babcock, Hinds, & Underwood, Binghamton, NY for 20 years and retired from McKillian Supply, Johnson City, NY in 1990 after 18 years.
Very special thanks to her niece, Faith Brown, her nephew, Randy Brown, special good friend Virginia McNeish, nieces Kathy Burton, Janice Russell and Mary Seraydarian for all they did for her. Special thanks to Lourdes Hospital for the wonderful care and love they provided Freda and her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Saints John and Andrew RC Church, 1263 Vestal Avenue, Binghamton with the Reverend Monsignor Michael T. Meagher officiating. Interment will follow services in Calvary Cemetery. At Freda's request visitation will be private. Memorial contributions in Freda's name may be made to the Parish of Saints John and Andrew, 7 Livingston Street, Binghamton, NY 13903 or to the Good Shepherd Community Foundation, 32 Village Drive, Endwell, NY 13760.To forward condolences please visit www.demunn.com.
