Freda Marvelle Hardy, 83 of Greenbrier graced Heaven with her presence on September 11, 2025. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Frank Hardy and their children, Frankie Hardy of Greenbrier, Rocky Hardy (Paul) of Roland, AR and Carla Scarboraugh (Lynn) of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Kevin Rooney (Amanda), Brandon Rooney (Hayley), Jacob Hardy, Kali Hardy and Shelby Hardy along with 7 great grandchildren.
Marvelle was born on February 25th, 1942, to the late Kate and Otis Lyons Sr. in Republican Arkansas. She was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. She was retired from the US Post Office.
She was proceeded in death by her siblings; Rev. Otis Lyons Jr., Waylon Lyons, J.L. Lyons, Lou Lee Owens and Phyllis Jean Turney.
A private family memorial service will be held. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to a charity of your choice.
