Freda Faye Holland Holt, 79, Kimball, TN, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Friday January 24, 2025.
Freda was the owner of Hair Benders Beauty Shop in South Pittsburg where she cut hair for forty-two years and made many lifelong friends along the way. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, and traveling with her late husband. Freda also enjoyed taking care of her three cats.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Darrell Holt; father, Freddie Holland; mother, Lora Mae Hibbs; brother, Horace Holland, and niece Kim Holland.
Freda is survived by her brother, Ralph (Tess) Hibbs, sister-in-law Glenda Holland, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. (CST) in the South Pittsburg Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Case officiating.
Mrs. Holt will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Darrell Holt at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 12:00 (noon) to 2:00 p.m. (CST) at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home.
