Freddie P. Rodriguez, a devoted master carpenter, beloved, father, grandfather, and brother, peacefully departed this life on January 3, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on October 20, 1963, Freddie dedicated 45 years to his craft, where he honed his skills in woodworking with unwavering passion. He found joy not only in the beautiful pieces he created but in the very process of building. Even in times without paying jobs, he could often be found tinkering away in his cherished woodshop, perpetually immersed in creation.
Freddie’s heart was larger than the many projects he undertook; he embraced life with an unyielding love for the outdoors. Every opportunity to fish or camp was embraced wholeheartedly, and these simple pleasures were made all the more special by the company he shared them with. Family and close friends were the light of his life, filling his days with laughter, stories, and memories that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy lives on through his adoring children: Freddie P. Rodriguez Jr., Mario Rene Rodriguez and wife Melissa, Carlos Anthony Rodriguez and wife Marina, and Jacob Rodriguez. As a grandfather, he cherished every moment with his grandchildren, Aspen Lorena Rodriguez, Julianna Rodriguez, Penelope Rodriguez, Gavin Andrade, and Aaron Andrade, who were the pride and joy of his life.
Freddie was not only a father and grandfather but also a cherished brother. He is survived by his siblings: Rosie Lerma, Lupe Rodriguez and spouse Linnette, Martha Diaz and husband Rocky, Gloria Aguirre and husband Tony, Francis Rodriguez and fiancé Billy, Ricardo Rodriguez and wife Juanita, Ruben Rodriguez, Tony Rodriguez and wife Rachel, Raul Rodriguez, Sophia Reyes and husband Ruben, Manuel Rodriguez and wife Lidia, Pablo Rodriguez and significant other Rose Rodriguez, and Janie Medellin and husband Rey. Each of them carry forward the warmth of his spirit and the memories they shared.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Agustin and Petra Rodriguez.
