Freddy Lee Davis was born on October 5, 1977, to Brenda Davis of Monroe, Louisiana, and Freddy James of Sicily Island, Louisiana.

He worked for the city of Monroe, Johnny P. Robinson Detention Center, and Ouachita Parish School Board for many years. He was a pillar of his community.

Freddy spent most of his time with his fiancée, Bonita Williams.

He passed on September 7, 2025.

Freddy was preceded in death by his sister, Sherrell Davis; brother, Jerry Davis; aunt, Louella Hunter; and uncles, Essie Davis, Moses Brown, and William Davis, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory: fiancée, Bonia Williams of Monroe, Louisiana; mother and father, Brenda Davis and Freddy James; three children, Myeshia Ellis, Freddy Davis, Jr., and Leoneisha Ellis (Boo), all of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Danny R. Davis, Tyrone Davis (Shanti), and Darrell Davis of Monroe, Louisiana; a special niece, Brenita Davis and special nephew, Deshawn Davis of Monroe, Louisiana; nine aunts, two uncles, and a host of other cousins, friends, and family.
