Deborah Marshall-Raven was born on December 4, 1958, to the late Lela Mae Anderson and Herman Lee Anderson. As the oldest of nine children, Deborah carried a natural gift of nurturing, guiding, and caring for her family. She attended Carroll High School in Monroe, Louisiana, where she began forming lifelong friendships that reflected her warm and giving spirit.

Deborah accepted Christ at an early age at St. Luke Baptist Church, later uniting with Cathedral of Praise in Monroe, LA. Her faith was her anchor, and she lived her life with a steadfast love for God, her family, and her community.

Known for her compassionate heart, Deborah never met a stranger. She was passionate about helping others and dedicated her life to serving those around her. To know Deborah was to love her. She found joy in family gatherings, encouraging others, and leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. After many years of hard work, she enjoyed her retirement until her health declined.

On September 5, 2025, God, in His infinite wisdom, called His beloved child home to eternal rest in His arms.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lela Mae Anderson; father, Herman Lee Anderson; great-grandmother, Tempie Boyd; and three sisters: Sharon Anderson, Barbara Burks, and Angela Edwards.

Deborah Raven (Darryll) memory will forever live on through those she loved deeply. She leaves to cherish her memory , her sons and daughters: Robert Marshall, Antonio Marshall, Monica Marshall-Felton (Lenzy) of Lewisville, TX, Roshanda Marshall, Kawanna Marshall-Brown (Patrick), Tamika Marshall, Deshonique Marshall of Dallas, TX, Alfred Marshall, Devarius Marshall, LaDarius Marshall, and Gerrineisha Marshall. She also leaves behind two sisters, Lasandra Anderson and Ramona Anderson; three brothers, Herman Lee Anderson Jr., Gary Wayne Anderson, and Anthony Anderson; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Though she is no longer with us in body, Deborah's love, laughter, and legacy will remain in the lives of all who knew her.
