Freddy Fonzo Adams, born on April 6, 1956, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. He was a cherished individual whose presence brought joy and warmth to all who knew him.
Freddy was known for his love of the outdoors, spending countless hours fishing and hunting. These activities were not just hobbies to him; they were a way of connecting with nature and finding peace in the world around him. His enthusiasm for life extended beyond the wilderness, as he was a devoted fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers and took great pleasure in watching football. His passion for sports fostered many joyful conversations.
A notable trait of Freddy's character was his thoughtfulness. He had a remarkable ability to remember the birthdays of his loved ones, often taking the time to reach out with a call, making sure that each person felt special on their day. This small gesture epitomized the big heart he carried with him throughout his life. He held his sobriety for 15 years and he was proud his mother got to see him sober before she passed away.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso and Bessie Adams; brother, Al Adams; and stepfather, Frank Maggiano.
Survivors include his sons, Clinton Adams, Beau Adams (Jennifer), Robert (Sarah); brother, Frank Adams (Patty); sister-in-law, Roz Adams; nephews, Matt Adams, Alan Adams; grandchildren, Aytymn Loutsenhizer, Jared Adams, John Adams, Avender Adams, Haylee Rayne Adams, Crowley Adams, Shawn Adams, Liam Adams, Zach Stewart, Austin McKenzie, Kady McKenzie; and great-grandchildren, Jonathan Adams, David McKenzie, and Marielle McKenzie.
