Larry Lee Adams a beloved brother, uncle, and friend to many, passed away on January 22, 2026 in his hometown of Picayune, MS. Born on March 1, 1961, Larry lived a life filled with laughter and an abundance of love for those who encountered him.
Larry was truly a light in the darkness. He will be remembered for his infectious laughter, warm smile, and his constant desire to uplift and encourage others. Larry leaves behind an extensive network of family and friends who will always cherish each moment that was spent with him.
Larry preceded in death by his beloved mother, Norma Lee Adams (James Mingo), whom he cherished deeply; his sister, Patricia Adams; and his brothers, Charles Ray Adams and Edward Derbigney.
Larry leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Maggie Adams; his stepdaughter, LaShunda Washington (Aniya and Jaden Washington); and his stepson, Montrell Barnes (Yanirah Barnes and Nellie Pinedo). He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Carolyn Griffin, S. L. Adams, Charlene Towns, Joseph Adams, Kenneth Adams, and Anthony Adams, all of whom loved and supported him dearly. Larry also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and very special friends who will miss him deeply.
Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel, 1011 Rosa Street, Picayune, MS 39466.
