Frederick Byers Obituary
Fred loved golfing with his golf buddies and hunting and fishing. He loved watching sports specifically the Phillies, Eagles, and golf. Fred lived in Kiamensi Gardens for 47 years and was active in the Civic Assoc. as President and Vice President. He will be missed by many friends and neighbors.
Fred was predeceased in death by his mother, Mildred Byers; father, Howard Byers; sisters June and Jean; sister-in-law Norma and her husband Augie. Fred is survived by his wife, Diane; brother-in-law, Rudy Conley; sister-in-law, Virgina Spruance; brother, Bob Byers (Jean); and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Fred will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, where friends and family may call from 9:30-10:30am, with Words of Remembrance to follow at 10:30am. Burial will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park.
