Cindy Gail Byers went to be with the Lord on February 26, 2026. She was born June 16, 1963 in Dallas, Texas and was the daughter of Bobby Hugh Butler and Sarah Jane Butler. Cindy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to those around her.
After high school Cindy attended and graduated from secretarial school. She worked for E-Systems, later known as Raytheon, remaining there for 20 years. She later moved to Cross Roads, Texas and worked for the school district for 11 years, retiring due to health issues. Cindy enjoyed creating memories, cross stitching, and scrapbooks. Her greatest joys in life were knowing the Lord, her family, and having her son Neil.
Cindy is preceded in death by her father, Bobby H. Butler, and her grandparents.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Eddie Byers and son, Neil Byers of Cross Roads; stepchildren, Josh Byers and Lori Byers of Malakoff; mother, Sarah Butler of Rockwall; brother, Bobby Wade Butler, sister-in-law, Kelly Butler; and nephew, Christopher Butler of Rockwall; as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
