Frederick "Fred" John Dingler
11-29-37 - 8-1-25

Fred passed away peacefully surrounded in love by his family on August 1, 2025 at the age of 87. Proceeded in death by his parents John and May Belle Dingler and sister, Debra Erickson. He is survived to cherish his memory by his wife of 65 years, Sharon; children: Bart (Deb) and Kari (James): grandchildren Nate (Anna), Hailee (Carter) and Emerson and great grandchildren Emelia and Sophia.

Fred, born in Gary Indiana, graduated from The American Academy of Art in Chicago and moved to Minneapolis to start his 40 year career as an Advertising Illustrator. In 2000 he began his career in fine art. He was a full-time painter of over 65 years, creating art in watercolor, oil, acrylic, pencil and pen and ink. He was also an art teacher, which allowed him to share his passion with others and make wonderful friends. Spending time with family and friends was his greatest pleasure along with his art.

"For me, being an artist is not merely a chosen profession. It is a way of capturing and transcribing the beauty I see in life so that others may also enjoy it."

Visitation will be Thursday, August 21, 10:00 AM, with a Service at 11:00AM, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, located at 13801 Fairview Dr., Burnsville, MN
