Billy Dingler, 87, of Murchison, passed away on April 23, 2025, in Murchison. A celebration will be held to honor his life at a later date.
Joe Franklin "Billy" Dingler was born on June 10, 1937, in Larue, Texas, to Reagan Joe Dingler and Ella Marie (Richardson) Dingler. He graduated from LaPoyner High School in 1955 and was a member of the Leagueville Baptist Church. Billy had a successful career as a carpenter in the East Texas area. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends. He loved being outdoors, connecting with nature, and tending to his roses.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Dingler.
Survivors include his children, Terry Dingler of Murchison and Tommy Dingler and wife Vickie of Brownsboro; his siblings, Nancy Snowden and husband Stanley of Hurst and Jimmy Dingler of Larue; his grandchildren, Ashley Dingler Geathers and husband Alian, Anthony Dingler and wife Hanna, Adam Dingler and wife Destiny, and Carissa Dingler; numerous great-grandchildren; the mother of his children, Wanda Dingler of Brownsboro; and step-children, Brandi Torres and Tommie Wilkerson. Billy also leaves behind a host of other family members, friends, and a community of people whom he loved dearly.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.

Dearest Billy,
You have been an angel since I meet you. I can´t believe that you´re gone but God has plans for you. I know you´re watching over us and will continue to share your love for all that has been gracious enough to have met you. Billy, you have always been a blessing in my life, and I am forever grateful to have known such a beautiful and giving soul . I send you my love and prayers to your family and friends. I will forever have you in my heart. I will miss you and will see you again someday. Till then...........
