Fred was born on June 25, 1959, in Racine, Wisconsin, to Frederick III and Irene (Braun) Draves. He spent his career working as a Sheet Metal Worker, retiring in 2016. After retirement he moved to his Northwoods retreat on Little Rice Lake in Crandon, Wisconsin.
Fred was a hard worker with a big personality and was always the life of the party. He had a deep love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley-Davidson.
He was an excellent cook and truly enjoyed his time in the kitchen, cooking, canning, and baking.
He was a true craftsman, able to fix or build just about anything, and he took great pride in passing on his knowledge, creativity and work ethic to his children and grandchildren.
Fred treasured his family and friends. Those who knew Fred will remember him for his infectious laugh, witty sense of humor, his willingness to help others and his deep-rooted faith in Jesus.
He is survived by his sons Eric (Krystine) Draves and Brian (Sarah) Draves; grandchildren Colton and Gavin Draves. He is also survived by his Mother Irene and sister, Cheryl Draves, along with many nieces and nephews.
Fred was preceded in death by his father, Fred III and his brothers, Michael, Patrick and Jeffrey Draves.
Pastor Micah Dewing will preside over services.

I hung out with Fred when we were teenagers. I saw him a few years ago when he joined us at a Racine zoo event. We had a great time and I am glad I have that memory of him. My prayers to his family and friends.
