A Loving Husband, Brother, Father, Papa, Great-Grandpa, Uncle and Friend passed away on September 25, 2023 at age 86. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 64 years, Rachel M. Gaskill who passed away in April of 2023; grandson, Mark Gaskill; parents, William J. and Rae M. (Strianese) Gaskill; brother, William E. Gaskill.
He is survived by his children, Kathleen (Gary) Annable, Cheryl Martello, Frederick Gaskill, Jr., Ann (Michael) Grasley, Kristen Gaskill; grandchildren, Megan Gorman, Elizabeth Keith, Jonathan Hedges, Eric Hedges, Charlotte Hedges, Katie Burns, Amanda Reagan, Heather Guchone, Savanna Gaskill, Lindsey Grasley, Ryan Grasley, Lily Grasley, Lauren Grasley, Brandon Gaskill-Evert, Stephen Gaskill-Smith, Michael Gaskill and Patrick Gaskill; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, JoAnn Gallagher, Patrick (Patricia) Gaskill; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Fred was a long-time Park Ranger with Monroe County Parks at the Genesee Valley Park. He was a proud Army National Guard Veteran serving in the Korean War Era.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc,. 3325 Winton Road South, where services will follow at 1:30 PM in the Interfaith Chapel of the funeral home. Interment, Maplewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) [Donate Online]
