Frederick Knudson Obituary
Fred was born in Des Moines, Iowa on September 8, 1961, to William Knudson and Patricia (Griffin) Roark. He graduated from North High School. He worked for The Chicago and North Western / Union Pacific Railroad for 30 years and retired as a locomotive engineer.
Fred loved his loyal pet "Buster" and in his younger years enjoyed fishing and boating.
Fred is survived by his brothers, Thomas (Shelly) Knudson and John Knudson; nephew, Josh (Trish) Knudson; nieces, Bailey (Elliott) Sheriff and Aubrey Knudson (Billy See); great nieces, Norah and Sage Sheriff and his step daughter, Olivia Meline (Matt Gardner). He was preceded in death by his father, William Knudson; his mother, Patricia (Griffin) Roark and his former wife, Lynn Knudson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
